Winter Simulation Conference 2015Huntington Beach, California12/6/201512/9/2015The Winter Simulation Conference (WSC) continued to be the premier international forum for disseminating recent advances in the field of system simulation. In addition to a technical program of unsurpassed scope and quality, WSC provided the central meeting place for simulation practitioners, researchers, and vendors working in all disciplines in industry, service, government, military and academic sectors. A Senior Technical Specialist from PMC served as one of the three co-chairs of the Manufacturing Track. This large track ran throughout the conference.
SIMUL 2015Barcelona, Spain11/15/201511/19/2015The conference provided a forum wherein researchers presented recent research results and new research problems and directions related to them. Attendance was about 200. Technical papers presented research and practical results, addressed the pros and cons of specific proposals (such as those being discussed in the standard forums or in industry consortia), and survey papers addressed key problems and solutions on these topics. A PMC Senior Technical Specialist presented a keynote talk "Simulation Attacks Manufacturing Challenges" and an application paper on discrete-event simulation; and participated in a panel discussion on simulation validation.
Michigan Simulation Users Group Annual ConferenceTroy, MI10/14/201510/14/2015This conference offered superb opportunities for the mutual exchange of technical, administrative, and management information pertaining to the use of simulation technology, and broadened the attendees' knowledge of simulation and its applications in all industries. Attendees and speakers communicated with simulation software suppliers regarding their product, maintenance, and other technical requirements from end users, thereby providing them ideas for improving their products.

Automotive Innovation ForumThe Inn at St John's, Plymouth, MI10/1/201510/1/2015The Automotive Innovation Forum featured a day of inspiring keynote presentations by industry experts followed by tracks relating to automotive design and manufacturing workflow. A combined General Session in the morning was followed by three unique tracks - Design & Visualization, Simulation and Factory Design, where notable industry speakers will share how their companies have embraced digital prototyping for the design and manufacturing of automotive icons of tomorrow. Amenities included lunch in the afternoon before the tracks and a networking reception in the evening.

The conference program comprised two types of sessions: Applied Solutions, which showcased proven solutions and applications from industry, and the Industrial & Systems Engineering Research Conference (ISERC), which featured research from academia and industry scholars. A PMC Senior Technical Specialist was one of four judges in the student paper competition.

Fifth International Conference on Industrial Engineering and Operations ManagementHyatt Regency Dubai3/3/20153/5/2015This conference provided a forum for academics, researchers, and practitioners to exchange ideas and recent developments in the fields of Industrial Engineering and Operations Management. The conference fostered networking, collaboration, and joint effort among the conference participants (from countries as diverse as Nigeria, Iran, Latvia, and Costa Rica -- among many others!) -- to advance the theory and practice as well as identify major trends in Industrial Engineering and Operations Management theory, education, and practice. A PMC senior technical specialist presented a paper on an application of simulation; this paper won a best-in-track award.
Michigan Construction & Design Tradeshow MotorCity Casino Hotel Detroit, MI2/4/20152/4/2015This well-attended event showed visitors our capabilities to integrate scanned point data into CAD models within the BIM framework. Many existing clients stopped by to say “thanks” for adding value to their process. New relationships were created in construction-related companies to engage with PMC regarding our efficient methods of developing cost-effective CAD layouts, accurately representing pre-demolition conditions, or constructing useful as-built 3D models for construction projects. We look forward to next year’s event and sharing more success stories with our growing AEC customer base.
International Simulation Conference of India 2015Hotel Le Meridien, Pune, India1/10/20151/10/2015ISCI provided a meeting place for simulation engineers, practitioners, researchers, and vendors working in the area of system simulation across disciplines in industry, service, government, and academia. The conference forum encouraged discussions of research ideas, exchange of knowledge and practice, and review of advancements in related topics.

A PMC technical specialist presented a tutorial paper and chaired a session at this conference.
Autodesk University 2014Las Vegas, NV12/2/201412/4/2014Autodesk University's flagship event is this annual conference and exhibition in Las Vegas; design professionals from around the world attended classes, keynotes, product demonstrations, exhibits and networking events. Attendees shared ideas, worked together to solve problems, and formed professional relationships that they might not otherwise have. Attendees also got year-round access to over 650 online classes on the Autodesk University website.
