As a leader with over 40 years in lean manufacturing and simulation modeling, our trainers will prepare you and administer your MODAPTS® Certification Examination.

As a crucial methodology in the world of Industrial Engineering and Manufacturing, MODAPTS® (Modular Arrangement of Predetermined Time Standards) is an efficient work measurement method that quantifies the time for tasks based on the body’s motions. It breaks down actions into modules, or “MODs,” with one MOD representing 1/7 of a second. It categorizes movements of body joints into three types: Movement, Terminal, and Auxiliary, each requiring different numbers of MODs. This practical system simplifies the complexity of motions into a language of productivity, which we’ll explore and apply in our training.

This training is designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills to streamline operations and enhance productivity through effective time measurement techniques and prepare you for your certification examination.

  • Hands-on experience with Assembly observation & MODAPTS® coding
  • Video study and Case study exercises: Watch study vs. MODAPTS®
• Day 3 (1/2 day):
  • Comprehensive review for the MODAPTS® Practitioner Certification test
  • MODAPTS® Practitioner Certification Exam
