Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Material Integration Engineer to support the design, optimization, and improvement of manufacturing and business processes. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical capability, hands-on experience with lean tools, and the ability to develop systems that enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve workflow and material flow. This role is essential in supporting process innovation, cost reduction initiatives, and continuous improvement across client operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop efficient methods to utilize people, machines, materials, and information within manufacturing or service environments.
- Study product requirements and design manufacturing and information systems to meet performance, quality, and cost objectives.
- Conduct cost analysis, financial planning, and estimation of production and business costs.
- Use mathematical and engineering methods to determine optimal processes and design planning and control systems.
- Create sampling procedures and distribution system designs to enhance delivery of goods and services.
- Apply lean manufacturing methods, time studies, and simulation tools to improve workflow and productivity.
- Utilize Lean tools including Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Visual Management, SMED, Standard Work, TPM, Kanban, and Theory of Constraints.
- Forecast and determine changes in business or plant processes to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Define and lead process improvement projects to reduce cost and improve efficiency while maintaining safety and quality standards.
- Compile, analyze, and present data to support engineering solutions and performance improvements.
- Prepare and deliver metric reports supporting process optimization initiatives.
- Implement continuous improvement practices based on methodologies such as Simulation and Lean/Six Sigma.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or a closely related field.
- 12 months of experience as an Industrial Engineer.
- Minimum 1 year of experience with AutoCAD, 5S, and implementing lean methodologies.
- Education or training in SAP ERP and SAP Materials Management.
